First attempts of a talented metal youngster.

The eponymous musician Jack comes from Tennessee and describes himself on his bandcamp site as a multi-instrumentalist who has recorded guitar, bass and drums for this EP himself. It seems that he is only seventeen or eighteen years old. Impressive.

In addition, it also proves to be versatile in composition. In the instrumental 'Attrition', he mixes with stonersounds and flows into black metal influences, except for background song. With 'Where Angels Die' he then switches to acoustic doom, this time with singing, and in a similar notch the unusually short 'Four Rivers' for Doom and the 'Meaning' accompanied with gentle singing of the singing. Fortunately, Ire then change something stylistically and lets the guitar whine in 'Epitaph'; the new severity comes back to his music. As it seems, the metallic pieces are largely instrumental, only the final 'endarray' sits between the chairs, but skillfully spans the bow to the beginning of the EP with extreme metal parts.

Jack Irish knows what he's doing. His compositional abilities carry "In Disarray" over 27 minutes without major stretch of thirst through his dusty-doomy music universe, in which there is nothing that you have not heard before, but what he does has his hand and foot. Although the CD sounds like Do-It-Yourself and is actually more of a demo that runs out of air in the middle section, it's Jack Ire's debut for friends of slow sound, Jack Ire's debut, after a few digital singles, is certainly worth an ear. We can be curious what the next steps will be for the young metaller. Powermetal
