Sybreed Confirm New Music Is In The Works Featured At The PRP!
Industrial Groove Metal Pioneers Tease New Music in Development
Swiss industrial groove metal innovators Sybreed have officially confirmed that new music is in the works. In a recent statement featured by The PRP , the band revealed that demoing for new material has already begun, marking a major step forward since their reactivation in 2023.
While fans shouldn't expect live performances anytime soon, Sybreed offered encouraging news about studio output:
“To be clear: a full reunion with live shows isn’t something we’re able to do right now, and likely won’t be in the near future. That said, there is some good news: we’ve started writing new demos, and yes, new singles will be coming your way eventually. As you know, we never want to rush things, so thank you for your patience. One thing we can say is that some of the new tracks we’re working on are pure, classic Sybreed. It feels great to dive back into that world.”
Having remained dormant since 2013, Sybreed made a surprise return in 2023, re-entering the studio to revisit and expand past material for a series of catalog reissues. The confirmation of new original music now signals the band’s first creative steps toward the future.
