Brad Wilson is a graphic artist, photographer and clothing designer from Center Point, Alabama who grew up with old B horror and science fiction movies, slasher films from the 1980s and 90s and Robert Ripley (Believe It Or Not). Other movies and television programs that left an impression on him are Halloween, Friday the 13th, Return of the Living Dead and the classic Twilight Zone series, and newer films like 2017’s Happy Death Day. Wilson’s work is heavily inspired by nostalgia, retaining the sense of wonder experienced from childhood. His work speaks to the sense of nostalgia and escapism in people, especially in the pre-9/11 world. His interview includes links to his community pages on Facebook and Redbubble.
