Element of Fate Unleashes Dark Gothic Visualizer “Warhorse” Ahead of Debut Album Dreamfall
Washington, DC / Portland, OR – Element of Fate, the US-based melodic heavy metal duo known for blending classic heavy metal with symphonic, gothic, and progressive elements, has released a striking official visualizer for their new track Warhorse on YouTube. The video arrives as a bold prelude to their debut full-length album, Dreamfall , set to launch July 27, 2026 via Bravemusic.
“If not now, when?” asks Element of Fate, channeling the unstoppable momentum of 2026, the Year of the Fire Horse. Warhorse is a dark, gothic-heavy metal reminder to move forward—through hesitation, uncertainty, and the challenges life throws our way. With lyrics like ‘Blessed. I fear nothing. With the gods at my side. I step into the fire,’ the track embodies the fearlessness at the heart of the band’s cinematic storytelling.
Produced and mastered by John Mario of JBG Records, the track—and the upcoming album—showcases soaring vocals, intricate guitar work, and cinematic arrangements that fans of Nightwish, Judas Priest, Seven Spires, Lacuna Coil, and Dio will instantly recognize, yet Element of Fate carves a unique sonic lane. One listener described their sound as “if Iron Maiden and Nightwish had a baby.”
Formed in the Washington, DC area and operating between DC and Portland, Oregon, Element of Fate is made up of vocalist and visual artist Carol Phillips (Madame Crol) and guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Scott Loose. Through fantasy, mystical, and sci-fi-inspired themes, the duo creates immersive metal experiences that push beyond genre boundaries.
To celebrate the release of Dreamfall, Element of Fate will launch a Kickstarter campaign on April 17, 2026, featuring exclusive rewards, behind-the-scenes content, and the first full music video from the album.
