Sydney based metal project KNOW also known as thebandknow , has released its crushing new single “VAULTLORD” , ahead of the official release date of November 7th, 2025 . Mixing the muscle of Groove Metal with the emotional weight and darkness of Melodic Death Metal , the track is tailor made for fans of Gojira , Sepultura , and Opeth .

“ ‘VAULTLORD’ is a powerful crossover of Groove Metal and Melodic Death Metal. ” The band’s own take says it all. The single digs into the bleak existence of a brutal, self centered survivor wandering a post apocalyptic world of his own making. Bound to a deathless fate, trapped by his own ego, he dreams of restoring the world yet fails to see he still craves power more than freedom. It’s a grim warning wrapped in riffs

KNOW’s Evolution
KNOW is the brainchild of Santosh Nanduri , a DIY multi instrumentalist who has shaped the project into a unique force blending Thrash, Groove, and Melodic Death Metal. His work pulls from deep human emotion, societal imbalance, and the chaos of modern living. There’s no pretense here
just raw, honest expression delivered through every instrument and every word.

The project has evolved sharply over the years. KNOW’s debut album Freedom explored Industrial, Nu Metal, and Electronic elements in a collaborative format. But since 2022, after lineup changes, Santosh forged a strict, heavier Metal direction that clicked with listeners. Singles like “Demoncracy” and “Blissful Spirit” marked the shift, gaining momentum and defining the band’s core strength.
“ VAULTLORD ” continues that rise, pushing the sound further, harder, and deeper.
