Allentown, PA – September 10, 2025 — Alternative metal outfit Sonny Dai are back with their latest single, “Cosmetics,” a raw and unapologetic track that blends progressive textures with a fierce punk attitude. Driven by the creative partnership of frontman John and bassist Calvin, Sonny Dai has built a reputation for turning personal struggle into powerful, cathartic music. While their recent EP The Arachnoid explored themes of resilience and healing, “Cosmetics” takes a sharper, more defiant turn—stripping away the polish and cutting straight to the core.

“The lyrics are about exploitation on a mass scale,” says John. “It’s about how women are too often treated as objects to be used and discarded by the systems and power structures around us. Taking off society’s masks is an act of defiance—messy, raw, and necessary. Punk energy just made sense here.”
