Dark, twisted, and dripping with southern doom grit, “His Name is Father” captures everything that defines SUGAR VIRUS — horror-drenched storytelling, heavy-as-hell riffs, and the unmistakable croon of frontman Jason Virus , equal parts Elvis, early Danzig, and Billy Milano.

Originally formed in 1992 under the name The Fiends , SUGAR VIRUS has spent more than three decades evolving their cult-favorite sound — a macabre fusion of horror punk, doom metal, and southern-fried thrash. Their new album Kill The Messenger is a 100% DIY creation, written, produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered by Jason Virus himself.
