Metal Rallies for Hurricane Relief: Tennessee Fest Joins Forces with Relief Group to Aid Helene Victims

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest Partners with Nashville Group for Hurricane Helene Flood Relief Efforts!

Jackson, TN: The Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest, taking place this Saturday October 5th, in Jackson, TN, is taking on a new and meaningful role this year, as organizers and attendees come together to support those affected by the catastrophic floods caused by Hurricane Helene. In response to the widespread devastation in East Tennessee and Western North Carolina, the festival has partnered with a Nashville-based relief group to collect much-needed supplies for flood victims.

Raven, co-owner of the festival, shared an emotional statement about the difficulty of preparing for the event while witnessing the tragedy unfold: "It has been difficult to focus on getting all of the tiny details done and ready for the festival without my mind and heart being heavy and heartbroken for our beautiful state, as well as our good neighbors in WNC. The tragedy of these horrific floods from Hurricane Helene is not even fully known or understood yet, but what I do know is that there are so many who are trapped, with no home, no shelter, no food, water, power, or medications."

To help provide relief to those in dire need, the Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest will have a dedicated donation booth near the entrance. Donations will be collected and transported by volunteers to groups in East Tennessee and Western North Carolina, where they will be delivered by kayaks and rafts to areas that are difficult to reach due to the flooding.

Festival-goers are encouraged to bring the following items to donate:

    Non-perishable food
    Bottled water
    Blankets
    Hygiene products
    Medical supplies
    Flashlights and batteries
    Clothing

The donation booth will be easily accessible, allowing attendees to drop off supplies without needing to carry them around during the festival. "Your kindness and generosity would be much appreciated," Raven emphasized. "We are sending so much love to those who are suffering, and to those who are working tirelessly to help those in need."

As fans gather in Jackson, TN, for a day of music and metal, the festival is an opportunity for the metal community to show its solidarity with those impacted by the flooding disaster. The event will serve as a powerful reminder of the strength, compassion, and resilience that emerge in times of crisis.
