'Hey Baby Why Don't You Love Me?' That is one of the tracks and in itself not a strange title. However, one may have to look at it all with different eyes. This is the German band Dead. That track is on the reissue of Dead's debut album, You'll Never Know Pleasure ..., which comes out via Xenokorp Kvlt Series.

Last year was the anniversary of these German rulers in the field of the so-called porngrind. After all, that genre is the genre that Dead helped make alive. However, the vulgar excesses only came in 1995 for the first time on a long player, after a number of small releases. It is precisely that record that is now central.

YOU'LL NEVER KNOW PLEASURE...
The reissue of You'll Never Know Pleasure... will certainly sound familiar to fans, but also has a special deviation. The punchline is missing in the title. Now the release, which comes in several beautiful editions on the world, is called You'll Never Know Pleasure..., while the original was added Until You've Tasted Pain. The cover underlines both the strength of the title and that of the genre. The minimally censored lady knows, in addition to a tattoo of the band, also the necessary chains hung. Bondage for the real enthusiasts.

First of all, Dead has never been the business of making a perfect sounding long player. Or maybe that wording should be chosen differently. After all, perfect is different for everyone. Dead does everything raw, and then drier than many female sexes that are frequently orated about. 'XXL Cunt' needs no further explanation, apart from the fact that here the woman will speak for a while, before the track really starts.

QUALITY VS. CULT
There are probably people who say that it sounds like it was recorded on a cassette tape in a random garage. They will probably complain that, for example, there is no quality in terms of sound no balanced dolby surround. However, this is about the cult band Dead and not some high-end Penthouse production.
