Talia Hoit, the classically trained singer-songwriter and symphonic metal artist, is set to release her highly anticipated album Oceans on November 21, 2024. Known for her dark, introspective, and metaphorical approach to symphonic metal, Talia Hoit’s music is a captivating blend of powerful orchestration, haunting vocals, and evocative storytelling.

Talia Hoit began her musical journey at the age of five, studying piano and developing her skills as a composer and performer. She first gained recognition as the keyboardist and co-songwriter for the band Ana Dies, where she contributed to the release of Formamentum (2004) and Catalyst (2006). After exploring various musical avenues, including classical music and solo songwriting, Talia found her true passion in symphonic metal.

Currently, she is the lead singer, orchestral composer, and co-lyricist for the symphonic metal band Beyond Forgiveness, with whom she has released several albums, including The Ferryman’s Shore (2015), The Great Wall (2017), and Live to Tell the Story (2019). In addition to her band work, Talia has been working on her solo material, collaborating with talented producers and musicians to bring her most personal and intimate songs to life.

Oceans is a deep dive into the emotional and thematic landscapes that define Talia Hoit’s music. The album features a collection of original songs that explore themes of introspection, resilience, and transformation, all set against a backdrop of lush orchestration and powerful metal elements.
