I have said this a few times but now, in a different context, I will have to mention, how good it is to see bands emerging from all over the world, especially from unexpected places. The most knowledgeable may find this conversation related to the debut album of this Australian one-man band Ardduc strange. After all, Australia is not as exotic a place as that. Unless we are talking about folk metal that seems more like Europe than exactly that part of the globe. Generally speaking, we can say that this is a work that perfectly fits the spectrum of folk metal with the guitar melodies inviting the dancing feet and the acoustic moments (like the intro "Vekja"). The drums don't sound very organic and being a one-man band can be programmed and it is in the limitations of the fact that it is a one-man band that this album comes up against mainly. Still, it is worth checking out for all fans of the style. - 6/10 - World Of Metal
