Genre: Black Metal

Release date and label: The album will be self-published on April 14, 2023.

Other band releases: This is their third album, before that they released five EP's, one demo and one live album.

How did I get to know the band: Metal Devastation Radio sent me this piece of German black metal and I can hardly say no to Sa. So let's listen:

What do I think of the disc? The album itself doesn't sound bad. There's a certain anger inherent in the whole thing, even if it's not that obvious. Most of the songs are rather sluggish, although there is a bit more tempo here and there. The vocals are pretty croaky and I really like them.

KETTE stomps through the auditory canals and has really settled there. This is one of those songs where the anger is more felt. The whole thing has a nihilistic war theme.

REGEN has also made it onto my list. Here you also work with different voices, which makes the track stand out from the others.

Conclusion: A decent album. Definitely worth listening to. Don't expect too big hits, but solid Black Metal with its own touch is what you get here. So have a listen: fullmetalmayhem

ZEIT was founded in 2010. After a self-titled demo, the first 3 EPs "Wintersturm", "Trümmer" (2015) and "Gram" (2016) followed as a trinity. The first album “Konvergenz” was released on tape and CD in 2017.

The "null."-EP from 2018 slowed down two old ZEIT songs to Funeral Doom tempo. The second album “Drangsal” followed in 2019. In 2021, "Betonkrebs", a half-hour excursion into grind punk, was released as a limited tape release.

The new album follows the development of “Drangsal”. Recorded in our own “Studio 357”, “Ohnmacht” musically once again falls through the net - somewhere between Sludge, Doom, Death and Black Metal. Produced and released by ourselves, the DIY approach allows musical freedom. "Ohnmacht" will be released on vinyl, CD and tape.
