Since forming in late 2015, Haze Mage has forged a distinctive sound steeped in doom, stoner, and hard rock influences, drawing inspiration from legends such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and Iron Maiden. Their music conjures vast dark forests, savage beasts, and haunting mystical realms, earning them a dedicated following in the Baltimore metal scene. Haze Mage’s debut EP, Blood Mist (2017, Grimoire Records), was praised by outlets like The Obelisk, Worldwide Underground, and Heavy Planet for its atmospheric, psychedelic, and unforgettable sound. High Fantasy is an epic 9-track journey that represents the culmination of Haze Mage’s saga.
