Broken Trinity Unleash Myth, Fire, and Truth on Metal Devastation Radio There are interviews… and then there are conversations that feel like stepping into the heart of the underground itself. No script. No polish. Just real people talking about real music, real struggle, and the fire that keeps metal alive. That’s exactly what went down when Broken Trinity joined Metal Devastation Radio live. From the jump, the energy was genuine. No industry posturing, no fake hype. Just respect, gratitude, and a shared understanding of what this scene is really about. “Man, we’re just… we’re over the moon. We’re just so grateful for everything you guys have done for us.” That kind of appreciation says a lot. But it also set the tone for what followed. This wasn’t just about promoting a record. This was about the journey behind it. Full Circle Through the Underground Frontman Stephen Cannon isn’t new to the game. Far from it. Before Broken Trinity, he spent decades on the other side of the fence as a journalist and radio host, documenting the very scene he’s now contributing to. “I’ve been on the other side of the table… 32 years, interviewing and reviewing bands.” That kind of history gives a different perspective. He’s lived the evolution of metal from multiple angles, and now he’s channeling all of it into something new. There’s a sense of things coming full circle here. The fan becomes the creator. The journalist becomes the voice. And the result is something that carries weight. The Sound: Blackened Doom With Teeth Broken Trinity isn’t chasing trends. They’re carving their own lane. Their sound blends black metal, death metal, and doom into something that feels both massive and deeply personal. Not just heavy for the sake of it, but layered with intention. “We’ve got the brutality in spades… but I want more emotionally charged content.” That balance is key. Crushing riffs meet atmosphere. Built on Loss, Forged in Fire The roots of Broken Trinity trace back to a difficult chapter in Cannon’s life. Not forced. Just raw expression. “I sat down with tears in my eyes… and wrote three pages of lyrics I can barely remember writing.” That’s the kind of moment you can’t fake.
