Loudwire Features Helldrifter’s New Album Shell of Inexistence via Violent Creek Records

Stuttgart, Germany – Metal Devastation PR clients Helldrifter have officially released their latest album, Shell of Inexistence , through Violent Creek Records , now available via Loudwire .

Described as “the uncompromising fusion of classic death metal and melody” with riffs reminiscent of the Gothenburg sound, Shell of Inexistence delivers fast, precise, and deadly compositions that balance heaviness, melody, speed, and groove. Loudwire notes that the album evokes the spirit of legends like At the Gates, Dark Tranquillity, Morbid Angel, Obituary, Death, and Carcass—while remaining fresh and original.

Lyrically, the album explores dark and existential themes, from nuclear apocalypse to psychoanalysis of the human soul and socially critical topics like war and suicide. Recorded, produced, and mixed by Roland Böffgen and Helldrifter at Hard Drive Sound Studios, with additional tracking by Vasilis Monopoulos and final mastering by Kai Stahlenberg at Kohlekeller Studio, the album is a finely crafted death metal experience. The artwork was created by Giannis Nakos, whose portfolio includes Suffocation, Morbid Angel, and Cryptopsy.

The album was recorded at Hard Drive Sound Studios (Stuttgart, Germany) by Roland Böffgen , with mastering handled by Kai Stahlenberg at Kohlekeller Studios . The striking artwork was crafted by Hans Trasid (Disart Design) , while the lyric video for "Suicide Strike" was produced by Billy Kolins .
