Poland is not a great reference in post-metal but that may even change with this third album of Moanaa originals. These days it's hard to make statements of this kind, the way the music scene is saturated with above-average proposals, however from the moment you dive into "Embers" there is no turning back. This is a work that perfectly combines a very own ambience – where the atmospheric factor is always fundamental – with a sense of raw and visceral weight but does not dispense with melody and even melancholy. It may serve as a perfect description, for me, of what I consider to be post-metal as style. It's not that it fits perfectly into style, not having freedom or creativity for more than that. There is all this potential, but there is also raw material to conceptually represent an entire style that already has great works and references. Surprising and remarkable. - WOM
