Texas hardcore band TEAR DROP has released a blistering new single titled "Forever Scarred" from their forthcoming EP, "Did You Wanna Love Me To Death," which debuts on September 25th from Static Era Records. Premiered first at MetalInjection.net, the song is now available for streaming on all services below.

Commenting on "Forever Scarred," guitarist Patrick Flanigan says, "I was trying to write a song that was really heavy with a dark vibe to it. The music was really cool and once the vocals were there it was just next level.“

In addition to the new original single, the new EP features covers of TYPE O NEGATIVE's "Love You To Death" and YOUTH BRIGADE's "Did You Wanna Die." 

“The idea was for the two very different covers to show our wide range of influences," Flanigan adds. "The theme of our songs are dealing with addiction and mental health. 'Forever Scarred' is a taste of what’s to come from a future full length.“

TEAR DROP is a newly formed hardcore/metal band featuring vocalist Griffin Jarzombek (ex-BITTER END), guitarist Patrick Flanigan and drummer Ely Castillo.
