September 18th will see Danish atmospheric Black Metal unit SUNKEN release their highly anticipated sophomore album, titled "Livslede", via Berlin's finest home for blackened sounds from the underground, Vendetta Records.
Drawing inspiration from the ocean and nature, SUNKEN have created a beautiful, sorrowful and extremely personal universe, taking the listener on an emotional journey through anxiety, self-hatred and hopelessness.
Bleak and depressive soundscapes and ethereal melodies – Today the band from Århus, Denmark, unleashed "Ensomhed", the first single taken from the upcoming album, streaming now here:
"'Ensomhed', Danish for "Loneliness", is a song about hopelessness, abandonment and the utter emptiness that loneliness can cause, when we all inevitably experience it. Musically, the song features our first endeavor into spoken word, as well as choir vocals and a return to doomy territory in what has become one of our favorite endings to a song of ours."
