Horror-synth ghoul SLASHER DAVE returns today with his most savage album ever! An epic descent into the dark and brutal jungles of cannibal zombie mayhem. Feeding off the energy and vibes of classic Italian cannibal films from the late ’70s and early ’80s, SLASHER DAVE has crafted a full-length album that promises to capture you by the intestines with the kind of gut-munching, brain-scarfing soundscapes that made the sounds and imagery from those films so exciting and enthralling!
CANNIBAL DEATH GODS is a splatter-coaster-ride filled with track after track of delicious and tasty chunks of morbid and maniacal horror-synth that immediately lands you into the hellish green infernos of living death!
The album is mainly influenced by the legendary Italian splatter scores of Fabio Frizzi, Nico Fidenco, and Riz Ortolani, with hints of giallo, Eurosleaze, and spaghetti western music sprinkled throughout. As always, the album features cover artwork by SLASHER DAVE himself.
“If you like the music in Italian horror films that have zombies wearing robes in them, you’ll dig this album.” – SLASHER DAVE
