Colorado-based alternative metal band Less Than Perfect (LTP) is stepping into a powerful new era with the release of their latest singles "Casting Stones" and "Never Surrender." These emotionally charged tracks serve as the first glimpse into the band's next chapter as they continue building momentum following their acclaimed album TENET .

Following their signing with DI Records , Less Than Perfect is expanding their reach while writing and recording their third full-length album, scheduled for release in early 2027.

Built around the dynamic father-daughter partnership of guitarist Andrew Matson and vocalist Kyra Matson , the explosive rhythms of drummer Chris Van Meter , and the rock-solid foundation of bassist Denny Underwood , Less Than Perfect blends crushing alternative metal riffs, soaring melodies, and deeply personal lyrics into a sound that delivers both intensity and inspiration.

The band’s music is centered around a message of hope, resilience, and redemption. Rather than dwelling on the struggles of the past, Less Than Perfect focuses on what comes next: finding strength through adversity, choosing hope over fear, and proving that every person has the power to rewrite their story.

Since forming in 2022, Less Than Perfect has shared the stage with national acts including TRAPT, Smile Empty Soul, HED PE, Faster Pussycat, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, and Crashing Wayward , earning a reputation for energetic live performances and authentic connections with audiences.

Their latest album TENET introduced fans to standout tracks including "Man in the Mask," "Own Worst Enemy," "Habitual," and "Take It All," showcasing the band's ability to combine heavy instrumentation with honest, relatable storytelling.

Now, with "Casting Stones" and "Never Surrender," Less Than Perfect delivers two anthems written for anyone who has ever been judged, underestimated, knocked down, or told they were not enough.
