Hungarian progressive symphonic death metal artist Darkwave , the solo project of composer and multi-instrumentalist Zsolt Némethy , released his highly anticipated fifth full-length album, Evanescent Horizons , on July 15, 2026 as an independent release.

Since the release of the debut album Hexapla in 2021, Darkwave has steadily expanded its musical and conceptual scope through Missa Innominata (2022), Thanatology (2023), and the critically acclaimed Horror Sacri (2025).
