SAL, the experimental metal project that fuses industrial weight, doom-laden atmospheres, and spatial sound design, announces the release of their self-titled EP on May 1, 2026. This immersive four-track EP features the tracks Doldrums , Blazing In The Sun , Exhaust , and Flesh Circuit , and includes guest vocals from the legendary Barney Greenway of Napalm Death.

Melding slow-burn tension with environmental listening experiences, SAL crafts soundscapes that feel as heavy as they are expansive. Fans of Godflesh, Sielwolf, and Prurient will find themselves drawn into a realm where dark noise and industrial metal converge into something both hypnotic and punishing.

Produced and written by Josh Cooper, with assistance from Lottie Holt and Tom Hatherley, SAL’s EP is designed to envelop listeners in immersive textures and unrelenting sonic weight.
