This powerful new track dives headfirst into themes of inner struggle, hidden pain, and the quiet desperation lurking beneath the surface, presenting one of the band’s most emotionally charged works to date.

Following the critical buzz of their recent EP The Arachnoid and their gritty single “Cosmetics,” “CENTER(peace)” marks a bold evolution in Sonny Dai’s sound—melding dark, brooding melodies with jagged alt-metal riffs and an undercurrent of cathartic intensity.

“This one’s about the stuff you hide from the world,” says frontman John. “The centerpiece you’re searching for inside yourself—the part that keeps you grounded—sometimes just isn’t there. And that’s a terrifying, vulnerable place to be. This song is about staring straight at that void.”

Lyrically, the track paints a haunting picture of concealed pain and internal erosion—lines like “Everything’s so fine / It’s non-existent on the outside” and “There’s no centerpiece to find / Inside your eyes” cut to the heart of the struggle between appearance and reality.
