Sacramento, CA — After years of silence, the toxic earth has split open once more and vomited forth the return of Sacramento’s brutal death metal juggernaut WURM FLESH . With a new line-up and a sharpened sonic arsenal, the band has emerged from the grave with their brand-new three-song EP, Teratogenic Malformation , released July 26th via Comatose Music .

The new incarnation of WURM FLESH sees founding members Rob Calhoun (vocals/guitars) and Mitch Bauder (drums) joined by Bo Rogers (bass) and Joe Salazar (guitar/backing vocals) . Together, they’ve taken the foundation laid on their 2018 debut, Excoriation Evisceration , and twisted it into something even more grotesque and punishing. Teratogenic Malformation serves as both a conceptual continuation of that debut and a venom-soaked preview of the full-length monstrosity the band plans to unleash in 2025.

Recorded, mixed, and mastered at Mayhemness Studios (Rings of Saturn, Wastewalker, Obliviated) , the EP captures WURM FLESH at their most merciless, with disturbing cover art by Sean Walusko (Dire Peril, Zombie Death Stench) sealing the package in gore.
