Houston, TX — Texas metal juggernaut Apex Fallen returns with a vengeance, dropping their latest single “Digital Demise” — a bold, genre-defying offering that pushes the limits of their already hard-hitting sound. Released on August 1st, 2025 , the track showcases the band’s continuous transformation, with razor-sharp intensity and brutal precision, masterfully engineered by Ramon Villarreal of Dark Tone Audio .

Rooted in Metalcore , Nu-Metal , and Hardcore , Apex Fallen’s sound is a volatile and dynamic force, drawing comparisons to titans like Wage War , Alpha Wolf , and I Prevail — yet delivering a voice and vision entirely their own.

Lyrically, Digital Demise explores the dark consequences of humanity’s increasing reliance on artificial intelligence. It confronts the growing fear that A.I. is not only learning from us but becoming us — taking our thoughts, identities, and ultimately, our place. With lines like “invading your mind, stealing your face, we are all to blame, for this self-inflicted fate,” the song is a powerful reflection on the unintended monsters we've helped create through our own technological obsession.

Originally founded in 2020 by drummer Daniel Woody and former vocalist Jeremy Hasson , Apex Fallen began carving their path with the early EPs Never The Lesser (2020) and Greater Than Misery (2022), followed by the standalone single Battle Born . With the lineup solidified in 2023 by Reis Divine (guitar) and Erik Hartenstein (bass/backing vocals), the band surged forward with singles Catastrophic and King Slayer , culminating in their 2024 full-length debut Sum of It All .

As their reputation grew across Texas — from Houston to Austin , Dallas , and Bryan — Apex Fallen also made waves in Louisiana , aligning with Endure The Affliction in support of the “Revive The Scene” movement.

In a pivotal move, Hartenstein stepped into the role of lead vocalist following Hasson’s departure, kicking off a bold new era with the single Hive Mind . The band’s momentum only accelerated, leading to performances alongside national acts such as Traitors , Crown Magnetar , Ventana , and A Killer’s Confession .

With the addition of bassist Justin Cordero in April 2025, Apex Fallen became a focused, sharpened four-piece — with Digital Demise serving as a fierce, melodic warning of what lies ahead.
