North America's Most Vile Death Metal Unit Hits the Road with Nile, The Last Ten Seconds of Life, and Cognitive

Prepare for mayhem. Canadian technical death metal juggernauts Cryptopsy have officially announced a U.S. tour in support of their highly anticipated new album, An Insatiable Violence , set to drop June 20 . The brutal trek, dubbed The Underworld Awaits Tour USA 2025 , sees Cryptopsy tearing through 25 cities across the East Coast, Midwest, and Pacific Northwest this fall, alongside fellow legends Nile , The Last Ten Seconds of Life , and Cognitive .

The announcement follows a blistering European run where Cryptopsy gave fans a deadly preview of their upcoming material. Now, U.S. audiences will have the chance to witness the chaos firsthand.

“We are so excited to bring An Insatiable Violence to the United States,” the band said in a joint statement. “It's a pleasure to tour amongst friends, and this lineup is incredibly stacked! Our new album was written for a live setting. The songs are more brutal and grooving so that people can really latch on and bang their heads.”

Fans can expect a ferocious setlist drawing from the new record, while paying homage to Cryptopsy’s crushing discography—including cuts from classics like None So Vile and And Then You’ll Beg . With their trademark blend of technical ferocity and raw aggression, Cryptopsy continues to prove why Decibel Magazine called them a band that’s “brimming with technical ability that nevertheless always feels a half-second away from fraying, fragmenting and falling apart.”
