INHUMAN CONDITION UNLEASHES "SEVERELY LIFELESS" FROM UPCOMING ALBUM "MIND TRAP"
Featuring Iconic Metal Legends Jeramie Kling, Taylor Nordberg, and Terry Butler
Inhuman Condition, the powerhouse trio of Jeramie Kling (Overkill, ex-Venom Inc., ex-Massacre), Taylor Nordberg (Deicide, Umbilicus, ex-Massacre), and Terry Butler (Obituary, ex-Death, ex-Massacre), has just premiered their new single "Severely Lifeless" via Metal Injection. This track is the first glimpse into their upcoming third full-length album, Mind Trap , set to drop on June 27, 2025.
A Dark Reflection on Humanity
"Severely Lifeless" delivers a grim and unfiltered look at contemporary humanity. Vocalist and drummer Jeramie Kling shared his thoughts on the track’s themes, stating, "When I began writing this song, I felt a massive sense of dread centered on contemporary humanity. I delved into this dread and realized that at no point in history has it ever 'been good.' There are threads of evil and maliciousness in every era, and there is no authority that truly knows how to correct it. We are what we have become. Nobody is coming to save us."
This harrowing perspective is echoed in the track’s brutal, sludgy thrash sound, a signature of Inhuman Condition’s approach to groove-infused death metal.
A Legacy of Brutality
Since their formation in late 2020, Inhuman Condition has firmly established itself within the Florida death metal scene. Their debut album, Rat°God (2021), released under their own label, Listenable Insanity Records, received widespread acclaim. The band followed up with Fearsick (2022) and the Panic Prayer EP (2023), further cementing their reputation as one of the most ferocious underground acts. Sharing the stage with heavyweights like Deicide, Vader, Hatebreed, Origin, and Kataklysm, the band has been relentless in spreading their unique brand of thrashing death metal.
In 2024, Inhuman Condition was invited to perform on the prestigious 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise, showcasing their high-energy performances to an international audience.
