This new track, inspired by the iconic myth, delves into Medusa’s origins, rise, and eventual demise at the hands of Perseus, capturing her transformation through intense musical storytelling.

"Medusa" stands as one of the band's more ambitious compositions, weaving multiple sections and thematic elements to chronicle Medusa's tragic tale. With sliding pre-chorus chords and rapid, descending pull-offs on guitar and bass, the song evokes Medusa's serpentine essence. The verses deliver a dark, majestic beauty, resonating with haunting refrains that enhance the character's twisted complexity.

Formed in Oshawa, Ontario, as a solo project by Jeff Pearson, Visions of Morpheus has since expanded into a powerhouse band, bringing together symphonic, progressive, and traditional metal influences.
