True Norwegian black metal horde 1349 has announced the release of their eighth full-length album, 'The Wolf and the King,' set to drop on October 4, 2024, via Season of Mist. In anticipation of the album, the band has unleashed the third single from the record, "The God Devourer," accompanied by a haunting music video.

Directed by Claudio Marino and produced by Artax Film, the music video for "The God Devourer" captures the dark and intense atmosphere that fans have come to expect from 1349. You can watch the video HERE .

Frontman Ravn comments on the new single, "'The God Devourer' is the opening track of 'The Wolf and the King.' It tears a hole in the universe and sets the atmosphere for the album as a whole. It strangely also resonates perfectly with the ominous apocalyptic mood of the world today."

The forthcoming album was mastered by Jarrett Pritchard and produced and mixed by Pritchard alongside 1349's frontman Ravn at NEW CONSTELLATION R.M.P.
