CARCARIASS Unleashes Sixth Album "AFTERWORLD"

French melodic death metal veterans CARCARIASS released their highly anticipated sixth album, "AFTERWORLD," on April 14, 2023. With a history spanning over 25 years, CARCARIASS has solidified their place in the metal scene with their powerful and melodic sound.

AFTERWORLD delivers a blend of intense riffing, intricate melodies, and dynamic compositions that showcase CARCARIASS's evolution as musicians. The album promises to captivate fans of melodic death metal, offering a journey through dark and atmospheric landscapes.

For fans of bands like DEATH, CORONER, and GOJIRA, CARCARIASS's music offers a familiar yet unique experience, combining elements of classic death metal with modern twists.

The album's production is handled by GSI Records, with recording and mixing done by "Drop" (Guitarist of SAMAEL) at Downtone Studio in Switzerland. Mastering duties were entrusted to Jens Bogren (ARCH ENEMY, AMON AMARTH, SEPULTURA) at Fascination Street Studio in Sweden.

The artwork for "AFTERWORLD" is crafted by Headsplit Design (NAPALM DEATH, KREATOR, CRYPTOPSY), adding a visual dimension that complements the album's sonic intensity.

"AFTERWORLD" was made physically available through Season of Mist Distribution on April 14th, with digital distribution via Tunecore after March 3rd. Pre-orders and streaming links are available on major music platforms: [Tunecore link].

CARCARIASS's current lineup consists of Pascal Lanquetin (All Guitars and Music Composition), Jérôme Thomas (Vocals), Raphaël Couturier (Bass), Bertrand Simonin (Drums), and Bob (Rhythm Guitar only for gigs).
