THE BEAST

Death Rattle is an American heavy metal band that is returning from an extended hiatus stemming from the pandemic that began in February of 2020.  Mixing elements of groove metal and melodic thrash, Death Rattle made a name for themselves in the New England metal scene with their energetic live shows and punishing riffs that left audiences breathless.  The band toured extensively in the US and abroad following their 2017 release, Volition, which was met with critical acclaim.  The band has plans to follow up this release with a new 10 song LP that represents the band’s musical growth over the past four years. 

As part of their return, they are releasing a 3-part biopic that documents the near dissolution of the band following a tour that brought them face to face with the novel Coronavirus, in its infancy, as it spread through Japan.  Each part of this video series will give you a different look behind the scenes of their struggle to return to the stages that they love so much.  Through all of the fights on the road and the mending of bridges, the series takes you inside their reformation and culminates with a look into the writing and recording process, showing the audience what is to come.

Armed with new material and a renewed vigor for their music, Death Rattle is preparing for a big year in 2024 as they return to the metal music arena.  Stay tuned for tour announcements and release dates that will be coming soon.  Watch the first part of the biopic below:
