Germany has always done one thing really well and that is thrash metal. The more brutal, the better. For every Metallica and Slayer, there was a Kreator and Destruction and this sound has run through Germany like Rhine. One band who have been delivering top drawer thrash metal are Traitor and on the back of a superb studio album last year, Traitor have delivered their latest live album ‘Teutonic Slaughter’.

The sound you have in your heard now for German thrash metal? That is exactly the sound that Traitor deliver here with ‘Teutonic Slaughter’. It’s not polished, it’s not pretty, but it is fast, ugly, and reeking of sweat, booze and puke. There is everything here that any fan of thrash metal could ever want, and the album gives a great retrospective of Traitor’s career. There’s no piss arsing about with splitting the crowd in two and wondering which side is louder, there’s no bass or drum solo, call and response vocals or extended guitar wankery, just balls to the wall thrash metal and anyone who wants to close their eyes and pretend they’re in a small venue with Traitor then ‘Teutonic Slaughter’ is the way to do it.

German Thrash Metal band Traitor is set to release their highly anticipated new live disc Teutonic Slaughter on September 22, 2023. The album was recorded by Iridum Stream at the Schlichtenfest 2022. This will be the band's first release since their last album, which featured guest vocals by Tom Angelripper SODOM and was well-received by critics and fans alike, receiving positive reviews in Bravewords and being featured in Banger TV 's BEST METAL ALBUMS OF 2022. The band has also been making waves outside of music, with a cameo appearance in the new film Total Thrash - The Teutonic Story. Fans of the band and the genre can look forward to the release of Teutonic Slaughter in just a few months' time.

The highly anticipated new live disc from "Traitor' called "Teutonic Slaughter" available exclusively from the band on both physical and digital format.

There is also a chic T-shirt and a "Teutonic Bundle" limited to 99 sets , consisting of the CD, an exclusive shirt with a print on the back, an exclusive and signed A1 poster and exclusive stickers. The whole record was recorded by Iridum Stream at the Schlichtenfest 2022, both the sound and the image. Yes, you read that right! Everything was mixed and mastered by the ingenious Kai Stahlenberg in the Kohlekeller studio! The great cover is by Irvan Yudap this time.
