Too Much Said The Nature are a solo project form Finland that has had music reviewed before in t his zine and on this recording moves away from the raw and melodic style of black metal from previous releases and goes for more of a blackened style of death emtal and this is a review of his self released 2023 album "From The Cellar".
A very dark, heavy and melodic sound starts off the album before introducing death emtal growls into the music. All of the musical instruments on the recording also have a very powerful sound to them while one song also adds in a brief use of clean playing and touches of black metal can also be heard at times.
Whispered vocals and spoken word parts can also be heard briefly while a couple of songs also adds ibn a small amount of keyboards. When guitar leads are utilized they are also done in a very melodic style along with one track also adding in a brief use of female vocals and when t he music finally speeds up blast beats can also be heard and one song also introduces clean playing onto the album.
On this recording Too Much Said the Nature move away from the black metal style of previous releases and focuses more on a death metal orientated direction. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Too Much Said The Nature and if you are a fan of blackened death emtal, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "The Line" "First people" and "Emily And Rose". 8 out of 10.
