The Drowning have been announced as part of perhaps the heavyweight touring package of the year so far. The Welsh kings of majestic doom/death metal will be joining up with two of the greatest death metal bands of all time, Vader and Immolation as well as Monument Of Misanthropy as they lay waste to the UK as part of the Rise Of The Empire tour. The Drowning will be appearing at the following dates, with their Brighton appearance being as headliners of the second stage at a colossal all day event from the Mammothfest organisation.:
April 11th - Rebellion, Manchester
April 14th - The Underworld, London
April 16th - The Arch, Brighton (2nd stage headliners)
These dates will bring to a close The Drowning’s touring activities in support of the Senescent Signs album, which was described by Zero Tolerance Magazine as ‘simply unforgettable’. The band will soon begin work on the follow up to what has been hailed as their finest album to date, so don’t miss this opportunity to experience the magnificent Senescent Signs set one last time.
