Earlier this year, ZØRORMR unleashed their fourth studio album, "The Monolith," to the acclaim of the black metal community. The album, initially released on CD and digital platforms, is now slated for release on cassette tape, a nod to the genre's underground roots. The cassette edition is set to debut on September 29, 2023, via Via Nocturna Records.
The cassette release aims to provide fans with an authentic, retro listening experience. The 5-panel, luxury J-card packaging will house eight tracks of what the band describes as "sonic mayhem." The tracklist will be as follows:
