We are beyond excited to announce that Fires in the Distance will be performing at the Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest !! We are HUGE fans of this amazing band, and we know you will be, too!
Fires in the Distance is a Connecticut-based melodic death / doom metal band. They are signed to Prosthetic Records and their sophomore album, “Air Not Meant for Us”, is due to be released on April 28th, 2023. KNOTFEST listed this as one of the most anticipated albums of 2023, stating, "From the first tastes of the new Fires in the Distance album, I can tell it will be both brutal and beautiful. Haunting guitar melodies, visceral but legible vocals, and symphonic elements that enhance rather than overpower give this album so much promise". We agree! The second single from the album, entitled “Wisdom of the Falling Leaves”, recently premiered via Metal Injection . Metal Injection stated that the single, “really captures that deep winter freeze in all its slow-burning, meticulously-composed melodic death metal.” Fires in the Distance have also been featured in MetalSucks.net .
