~ Heavy atmospheric trips to those places that lie forgotten behind your waking mind ~
Low Sun are a London, UK based instrumental band who play a blend of Stoner, Heavy Psych and Post Rock, with atmospheric overtones and a touch of Doom. Active behind the scenes since 2012, and after trying out several singers, the founding members gravitated back to their original instrumental format. The chemistry was right, and the music flowed. Out of countless jam sessions songs began to emerge, one by one.

The band released their latest track, the epic 14-minute Icicles, on the 2017 Summer Solstice. Their first EP, Prologe - The Demo, earned them a stint as Heavy Planet's "New Band To Burn One To" in August 2016.

It does suck big time. They haven't officially split but the guitarist wants to go back to Portugal. The band is really Fabio the guitarist and Rob the bassist who started the band and they feel if one of them leaves that's it. They were also having some problems with band members.

They were a very Understated band They weren't really into promotion they just like to play and create. Many a time I asked for interview but not forthcoming. In 10 years they released 3 songs and played 2 live gigs which tells you a lot.

It's a shame though because things were starting to happen for them. The release of icicles, a couple of great live performances which went down really well and more music in the pipeline. I'm hoping they do something but It's been a year already
