Red Vinter Receive Praise From Teeth Of The Divine For Crushing New Album Ghost In The Fog

St. Paul, MN – Minnesota doom/death metal wrecking crew Red Vinter continue their march through the underground with their latest full-length album Ghost In The Fog , earning praise from critics while preparing for more live appearances throughout the year.

The album recently received a powerful review from Frank Rini of Teeth of the Divine , who highlighted the band’s crushing blend of doom, death metal, and industrial darkness.

Describing the record’s oppressive atmosphere, Rini praised the band’s sound, noting:

Recorded at the legendary 14:59 Studios in Minneapolis , Ghost In The Fog was co-produced by vocalist/bassist Mike Bullock and engineer Will Maravelas, continuing the creative partnership established on the band’s debut release Lumbering Menace .

Across eight crushing tracks, Red Vinter expand their signature sound with bleak atmosphere, massive riffs, and a slow-burning heaviness that blends the raw intensity of doom metal with the brutality of death metal and industrial influence.

The album features the previously released single “Cryptic Site,” offering listeners a glimpse into the dark and immersive world of Ghost In The Fog with crawling riffs, haunting tension, and a crushing underground edge.

Following the album’s release, Red Vinter are continuing to bring their sound to stages across the Midwest. The band will appear on August 22nd at Sparta Metalfest alongside fellow Midwest Doom Coalition bands Wilbur, Plant, and Thundergoat .
