Few acts in the modern pagan world have carved out their own lane quite like Eihwar. Folk N Rock wasn’t exaggerating when they said the duo has been hard to ignore. With their strange brew of Nordic folk ritual and electro-industrial sweat, Eihwar have gone from underground curiosity to full-blown cult force.

After a year hitting battlefields like Wacken Open Air, Midgardsblot and European dates with The Hu, the project now returns to drag the world deeper into what they’ve dubbed Viking War Trance.

Today, Eihwar have officially announced their highly anticipated second full length Hugrheim alongside a new music video for its lead single, “Nauðiz.” The track embodies the band’s signature fusion, hammering out a narrative that transformation isn’t chosen, it’s survived. War drums and horns collide with trance-laced chants until the whole thing feels half ritual and half confrontation.

The video takes that energy even further with a cinematic, live-action aesthetic. Struck down by her most intimate fear, Asrunn faces annihilation before rising through the protective magic of Mark. Fire becomes both executioner and catalyst, turning “Nauðiz” into a tale of sacred trial and rebirth.
