With over 20 years of hard-hitting rock under their belts, ALTER BRIDGE shows no signs of slowing down. The celebrated Florida-based quartet—vocalist/guitarist Myles Kennedy, guitarist/vocalist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall, and drummer Scott Phillips—has announced the release of their long-awaited self-titled eighth studio album, Alter Bridge , due January 9, 2026, via Napalm Records. The record is now available for pre-order in physical formats.
Recorded over the spring at the iconic 5150 studio in California and producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette’s Florida studio, Alter Bridge features 12 brand new tracks that capture the band at the height of their powers. From pulverizing riffs and melodic finesse to signature dual-vocal moments, the new material is being described as some of the band’s most iconic to date.
Among the standout cuts are the driving “Rue The Day,” the emotionally charged “Scales Are Falling,” and the explosive “Disregarded.” Fans can expect a vocal switch-up on “Trust In Me” and “Tested And Able,” with Kennedy and Tremonti trading off lead duties. The epic closer, “Slave To Master,” clocks in at over nine minutes, making it the band’s longest track ever—an ambitious finale that underscores their progressive edge.

The performance is part of the Tremonti Family Charity Golf Outing, a benefit supporting the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS). The cause is especially meaningful for guitarist Mark Tremonti, whose daughter Stella was born with Down syndrome.
Since forming in 2004, ALTER BRIDGE has grown from a promising side project into one of hard rock’s most respected acts. Their gold-certified debut One Day Remains launched a streak of six Top 20 debuts on the Billboard 200, and their catalog includes fan-favorite albums such as Blackbird , AB III , Fortress , The Last Hero , Walk The Sky , and Pawns & Kings .
Guitarist magazine crowned the solo from “Blackbird” the “Greatest Guitar Solo of All Time,” while tracks like “Isolation” and “Addicted to Pain” dominated rock radio. The band has sold out world-renowned venues like the O2 Arena and Royal Albert Hall, while continuing to evolve artistically.
Alter Bridge is not just a reflection of where the band has been—it's a bold step forward in a legacy that refuses to be defined by the past.
