THIRTEEN GOATS Set to Ignite the Stage at Glacial Mutilation Metal Festival and Announce Vancouver Island Tour Dates

Vancouver, Canada – Extreme metal powerhouse Thirteen Goats is thrilled to announce their participation in this year's Glacial Mutilation Metal Festival , taking place over three nights from February 20th to 22nd, 2025 , at The Wise Hall in Vancouver, BC. Thirteen Goats will open the festival alongside an explosive lineup featuring The Hallowed Catharsis (Vancouver, BC), Dawn of Ouroboros (Oakland, CA), Black Pestilence (Calgary, AB), and Rat King (Seattle, WA).

The festival lineup also boasts performances from Exist (Baltimore, MD), Bonded By Blood (Pomona, CA), Xoth (Seattle, WA), Terrifier (Vancouver, BC), Celestial Wizard (Denver, CO), Nomad (Okanagan, BC), Art of Attrition (Red Deer, AB), and more!

Thirteen Goats is touring in support of their latest release, the extreme metal rock opera "Capricorn Rising," out now via Exitus Strategem Records. Described by Kelly Schaefer (Atheist) as "really strong. GREAT musicians, great production, as well as a very progressive aspect without losing the darkness," the album has received high praise for its unique storytelling and infernal riffs.

"Capricorn Rising" follows the saga of their mascot, Shepherd , a goat-skull-wearing Antichrist leading an army of animals in a crusade against humanity's greed and destruction. Combining elements of death and thrash metal, the album explores themes of disillusionment, radicalization, and rebellion, all wrapped in ambitious song structures and huge hooks.
