A dark, emotionally searing journey through doom and death metal realms, “KIA” showcases the band’s trademark sound—slow-burning riffs, apocalyptic tones, and soul-crushing atmosphere. The video captures the track’s ominous spirit with stark, dramatic visuals that mirror the song’s themes of sacrifice, violence, and remembrance.
“ KIA is one of the most intense and personal songs we’ve ever written. It means a lot to share this one visually with the world, ” says bassist and vocalist Mike Bullock .
Red Vinter is:
Mike Bullock – Vocals, Bass
J LeBrasseur – Rhythm Guitars
Dylan Jones – Lead Guitars
James Achilles – Drums
The release follows the band’s acclaimed 2025 EP Into the Deep , which was named Album of the Month by Metal Digest and helped build momentum leading into their full-length debut. With Lumbering Menace , Red Vinter cements their place in the modern doom/death movement, pulling inspiration from titans like Monolord , Godflesh , and Obituary .
