Pensacola, FL / Massachusetts – June 26, 2025 — Rising progressive death metal act Visitant has unleashed the official video for their blistering new single “FODDER,” the first offering from their upcoming concept album Rubidium, due out August 23, 2025 via Exitus Stratagem Records.

Already turning heads worldwide, “FODDER” has been featured by Hungary’s leading metal magazine HammerWorld, alongside a spotlight on Metal Injection, where it has received acclaim for its cinematic horror aesthetic, raw emotional intensity, and genre-blending approach.

Musically brutal and atmospherically rich, “FODDER” offers a glimpse into a world haunted by loss, resurrection, and ancestral warnings. Vocalist Chelsea Marrow (also of Voraath, The Monster Factory, and contributor to the video games Doom Eternal and Hellblade II) reveals:

“In the dream, I attempted to bring my friend back from the dead against the warnings of my ancestors — and everything went wrong. It felt like a horror short from my subconscious, and the video captures that eerie, ritualistic atmosphere.”

Visitant was formed in 2022 by guitarist Taylor Tidwell and vocalist Chelsea Marrow, longtime collaborators with nearly a decade of musical chemistry. Their sound blends death metal ferocity with blackened textures, orchestral grandeur, and storytelling depth. The band also features:
