“We’ve always been fans of '80s new wave,” the band says. “Back in 2005/2006, we used to perform 'Shout' live — it was a crowd favorite. While only an instrumental demo and a grainy YouTube video existed, we knew it deserved a proper recording. Now, it finally gets the treatment it deserves — and it rips .”

The cover, recorded in 2022, features as a bonus track on the reissue of The Pulse of Awakening , alongside their take on Killing Joke’s “Love Like Blood.” An exclusive EBM remix of “Shout” is included as the single’s B-side, crafted to ignite the dancefloor at industrial and electrodark parties.
