Catharia Announces Release of Sophomore Album: "Unimaginable Dreams Of Fate"

Midwest black metal project Catharia is set to unleash their highly anticipated second album, "Unimaginable Dreams Of Fate," on May 24th, 2024. This opus is actually a very important moment for the band: it offers a perfect mix of modern black metal and the blackened death metal and the melodic black metal that they have been crafting in their recent releases.

Following in the footsteps of their successful debut, Catharia's latest offering promises to push boundaries and leave a lasting impression on the black metal community. With tracks fully recorded, mixed, mastered, and ready for release, the band is eager to share their latest sonic journey with the world.

"It's been a long process with plenty of learning and small setbacks along the way," says the band. "But we are now completely done with 'Unimaginable Dreams Of Fate,' and we couldn't be happier with the results."

Drawing inspiration from legendary bands like Dissection, Cradle of Filth , and Darkthrone , Catharia's sound is characterized by its dark atmospheres, intricate melodies, and ferocious energy. Fans of these bands can expect to find a new favorite in Catharia.

Based in Indiana, Catharia is a force to be reckoned with in the Midwest black metal scene. Will their sophomore album be the turning point where they cement their position among the roots of the genre and continue to explore and push the boundaries of their sound further?

"We are very happy to be in this spot at just over 1.5 years since our last full-length album release," adds  Catharia.
