Crown Magnetar Unleashes New Single and Video, "Barbed Wire Noose"

On March 7th, Colorado's brutal deathcore force Crown Magnetar will drop their latest EP, Punishment , via Unique Leader Records. Following their tradition of relentless releases, this new record continues the band’s streak after 2024’s re-mixed and re-mastered The Prophet of Disgust EP. Helmed once again by producer-turned-bassist Mike Sahm, Punishment is set to be another crushing chapter in the band's discography.

Crown Magnetar Continues to Dominate the Deathcore Scene

Since their debut, Crown Magnetar has amassed a global fan base, delivering pure chugging brutality across multiple releases. Their ability to craft relentless, punishing deathcore has placed them on stages alongside giants such as Lorna Shore, Dying Fetus, Suicide Silence, Born of Osiris, Carnifex, Spite, and Enterprise Earth.

With Punishment , they are once again out for blood—both sonically and thematically. The EP’s over-the-top tracklist reads like a horror movie soundtrack, with titles like "Barbed Wire Noose," "Nailed the Fuck Down," "Bringer Of Dead Light," and "Decapitation Ritual."
