Tim Black’s musical journey began in preadolescence with a fascination for bass guitars. He started experimenting with single-note riff patterns on a two-string acoustic guitar, imagining he was playing a bass. His early influences include The Beatles, The Monkees, KISS, Black Sabbath, and Alice Cooper. As he grew as a musician, his inspirations expanded to include Metallica, Megadeth, Mastodon, Iron Maiden, Death, and Cannibal Corpse. OFF THE REALM reflects Tim's love for a broad range of genres, including Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Hair Metal, Thrash Metal, and Death Metal.
