Drawing inspiration from the likes of Lamb of God, Decapitated, and Bloodbath, Valar Morghulis delivers a relentless onslaught of death, thrash, and groove metal. Lead guitarist, GR, shares the band's sentiments, "Ghost is more than just an single for us. We began writing the track on Easter Sunday 2023, a day that was marred by the brutal murder of a family member. The music and lyrics of this song hold a particular meaning for us after the events of that day. Ghost is our response to murderers, rapists, pedophiles, and their ilk."

"Ghost" showcases Valar Morghulis' evolution and maturity as a band. While the track retains the band's signature aggression, it also explores more moderate and melodic elements, taking listeners on a journey through the dark realms of metal.
