What started as a drunken night in a NYC basement blossomed into the beauty and the beast that is Forever Mortal (this is a great name; I do love a good oxymoron). Having two lead guitars means that Forever Mortal deliver hard-hitting melodies from the start which howl and flow effortlessly from each song. This is coupled with excellent choruses which croon one minute and then in the next breath growl with the tempo also stepping up. ‘Foreign Shores’ may just be a composition of five songs delivered in 20 minutes, but it is a huge taster of what Forever Mortal offer…pure bedlam!
