After touring throughout the US and the UK and performing at notable festivals such as Mayhem Fest and Knotfest in So Cal, the band began writing and working diligently to complete the album. In the making for six years, their latest album was recorded in four different studios, with the help of five different producers, including Josh Gilbert of As I dying, Darian Rundall of Suicidal Tendencies & Dokken , and Adassi Adassi of NervoChaos . The pandemic gave the band extra time to work on the album, and they called in some of the biggest names in metal as guest performers. Belisario Dimuzio from Cattle Decapitation , Heidi Shepherd from Butcher Babies , Henry Sanchez from Brujeria , Brian Sheerin from Mower , Christian Machado from Ill Nino , Dan Palmer from Death By Stereo , Travis Neal from Divine Heresy , Marcelo Barbosa from Angra , Matt Wannamaker from Mower , Riley McShane from Allegaeon , and Dallas Coyle from God Forbid all lent their talents to the album. The result is a diverse, melodic, and intense album that aims to carve out a new path for metal as a genre.
