We are thrilled to announce that Pontifex, the Symphonic Black Metal band known for their unique blend of ambient and dark symphonic sounds with the aggression of thrash and death metal, is set to release their debut album, ".From the Pale Mist," in spring of 2024. Featuring drum performances from Mike Smith, former drummer of Death Metal pioneers Suffocation, this album promises to transcend the limitations of traditional black metal. Pontifex is composed of Ashtin Duba, Kaleb Daniels, Dominique Leath, Deveron Christie, and Rosaly Piderit, and we can't wait for fans to experience their powerful and innovative sound.
